Welcome To Sidewalk's Biker Boutique
Things to Wear out there on the Road
Sidewalk is my road name, and since my business for the past 20 years has been logo'd garments for businesses, I thought it would be fun to take what I know about embroidered garments and put together a collection of things I like to wear when I ride.
I don't have boxes of stuff to sell. When you order from me, we work out the exact garment you want whether it is embroidered or not, but always personally prepared in my shop and shipped to your home or business. Keeping my selection simple and overhead low, I think you'll appreciate the value and will tell a friend.
I have access to a wide range of quality products, these are a few that fit for biking enthusiasts. I must remind you that these products are not motorcycle specific or specially designed for enhancing motorcycle performance or safety. I welcome inquiries.

*Embroidered Biker design. The little biker graphic is taken from what we always see when folloing our friends on their bikes- the silhouette of that guy or gal just ahead. The design can be by itself, or used in a larger design ensemble as illustrated.
This is me, dipping a tire in the Atlantic ocean. From here in Nova Scotia, I rode through Canada and the US back to home in San Diego. 5400 miles for that one.

Custom products
On the photo pages you will find product and prices. There is no "shopping cart" because this is a really cheap website plan, and I'm building it myself. I've always done business face to face and even now you'll have to e-mail me and place your order. I will e-mail you back to work out details, and in the end I think you will be happy with the products and the service.
My goal is to provide you with a place where you can get some very nice and useful wearables, personalized at a price way better than those mall kiosks.
Behind the Scenes of My Home Page
It is 2011, and the open road still calls. As I type this in late February those roads are still being hammered with the fury of winter. The motorcycle forums all over the Internet are filled with the groanings of fellow bikers trapped inside, their frozen machines in garages and sheds awaiting a peek of sunshine and the chirp of a bird- any darn bird will do.
For me it is the anticipation of another chance to ride on the Run For The Wall, the 23rd (I believe) annual ride that calls America to remember those lost in war and being held as prisoners of war. Leaving California in mid May, the riders are so many that two groups start out and converge in Washington DC to be in the Capital for Memorial Day. For ten days as the groups make their way across the country, others join in and cheering crowds line the freeway overpasses to offer encouragement and love to the veterans and friends on the motorcycles as they pass.
The ride stops at memorials, VA hospitals, some elementary schools, small towns, and Veteran's halls where they are fed, housed, and loved. The riders, some emotionally overwhelmed by the extraordinary greeting, return the love as best they can, sometimes giving small gifts to the people they meet. There is laughter and weeping, as many of the riders come to grips with deeply hidden emotions and the scars of war buried beneath the veneer of their everyday lives.
For their part, thousands of volunteers come out to greet the riders, giving sandwiches and offering cold water, sometimes they even chip in to buy the fuel for the whole contingent of several hundred thirsty bikes.
In case it sounds like I love this, You are right- I do.
While I am content to just go and enjoy this ride, I also believe I can offer some things to help other riders enjoy it too. You will find on the site a selection of garments and accessories that I like to use making this or any long distance ride a pleasure. Browse at your leisure, but since everything I make is personalized you will need to contact me by email so we can get you exactly fitted out.
